Staff, students and alumni of France’s École Supérieur des Métiers Artistiques (ESMA) will be paying special attention to the 2015 Oscar Ceremony, as a short-film made by five of last year’s class actually features in the programme. Not that cinematic success is anything new here. Since the school opened its doors in 1993, students have excelled in the fields of animation and computer generated cinematography. In fact, the school is today considered to have the seventh best course in animation in the world.
