Get swept away at De Reede: one of the few museums in the world exclusively dedicated to graphic art and works on paper. Shining a bright light on the works of masters Francisco Goya, Félicien Rops and Edvard Munch, this intimate Antwerp museum takes you on an adventure through this unique and undiscovered form of art. “People often don’t know much about graphic art,” begins Harry Rutten, initiator of the project. “It is often thought that graphic works are mass-produced, yet they are anything but. Graphic artists are extremely precise and skilled. Each work is unique.” After a complete renovation, Museum De Reede celebrated its opening in June 2017.
