L’esplanade frequently hosts entertainment and themed events. “In the first two weeks of April, L’esplanade will host a vegetable garden festival partnering with local regional producers. We hope to inspire people to create and maintain a vegetable garden both indoors and outdoors. We will show people how to grow their own vegetables and aromatic herbs, in addition to creating a decorative garden,” says Mariela Van Hoey, head of marketing for L’esplanade. The idea is primarily to inspire people to produce their own vegetable plot. In February, the centre hosted a week for circus aficionados, which included a circus school.
