Château Font du Broc is paradoxical: its intriguing wines and stunning architecture are deeply rooted in Provençal tradition, yet both are of relatively recent vintage. In a single generation one man’s vision has created something that feels like a millennium in the making. Apart from being the third most populated and third richest region of France, it also has one of the most unique natural features of the territory. One of them is the majestic Gorges du Verdon – Europe’s largest canyon made of an immense ensemble of limestone cliffs reaching up to 700 metres in height and overlooking large turquoise lakes.
