Everything’s going to plan at Gerta Psachou’s interior design consultancy – but then she’s been preparing for it from childhood. “I’ve been designing since I was nine or ten: I’d change my room, move the furniture around; my mother would sometimes return from work and find her room totally revamped,” Psachou explains. “My first pocket money was spent on interior decorating magazines, like House and Garden.” Unlike so many childhood passions, Psachou’s never waned.
