Founder Bobby Fogel emphasises that every project begins with listening carefully to the client’s wishes and translating those into legal and spatial feasibility. The firm also distinguishes itself through its ‘haute-architecture’ approach. Fogel explains: “By haute-architecture, we mean exclusivity in which true expert research is conducted in order to meet the client’s expectations.” It is this combination of technical rigor, artistic sensitivity and commitment to the client that shapes every stage of the design process.

Projects range from private residences to large-scale public buildings, including the development of a mosque exploring a new architectural typology. Fogel describes the practice as an ongoing relationship with clients throughout the entire trajectory. “Personal contact is key,” he says. “Without mutual trust, no agreement is reached. The building process is an adventure in itself, so it should be a pleasant experience. That’s why I remain reachable for the client throughout the process and am often later on considered a friend. Of course, work and pleasure remain separate, but sometimes a relaxed approach is also allowed.”

What also sets the firm apart is teaching students through the process. “Top students regularly visit and are offered accommodation in our own building,” adds Fogel.
